Um, ouch

The tongue on these is a deal breaker for me. It’s really puffy, with kind of an inner tube that presses against the front/top/side of my foot. I only made it through about two minutes of a warm up at home before I was ripping these off my feet; couldn’t take them off fast enough. I do have a high arch/instep, but regardless of adjustments I tried to make, they were a no-go. Back to my Nike Pegasus models. Too bad, as an instructor for Les Mills group fitness formats, I was trying to support their new brand partnership with Adidas. These are a miss.

I'm older and overweight, plus I have mild arthritis in my right foot. Getting the best fitting athletic shoe is of utmost importance to me and I tried on six pairs from three different recognizable brands before settling on this one. My only misgiving is the heels slightly slide up as I walk and may cause blisters. But! I'm willing to deal with that because fit, comfort, support, and attractive design are tough to find all in one shoe. I will use these to walk my dogs and as leisure shoes. If I were lighter in weight, I'd run in them. :)
Over all good shoes for my treadmill, almost true to size, i think half size down fit better, hard sole compare with my other shoes, but still working for me
