My foot is about a 7 1/2 length, but I usually order an 8 because I like the extra room. I ordered these in an 8, thinking I'd be just fine, but my toes actually touched the ends of the shoes in the size 8. I've returned them and ordered an 8 1/2. They are really "cushy" and because I love the box toe in the Altra shoes, they're great to workout in. (My feet don't go numb on the elliptical!). These will be great when I can get a pair that fits.

Really love these shoes, but wish I had kept the smaller size. In Altra, normally I wear a 9 or 9.5 depending on the shoe. In these, I was between 9.5 and 10, surprisingly. So they do run small. I kept the size 10 because I definitely didn’t want them to bee too tight. However, after wearing them for about a month, the padding conforms and I am wishing I had kept the 9.5 instead of the 10. They are looser now. :(

I bought these for a trip to Europe where we’d be doing a lot of walking. I have several pairs of different models of Altras and had to size up a half size in these ones. They are also wider overall than my other pairs. They’re not quite as cushiony as some models I have but they served my feet well during our two weeks in Europe where we walked 6-12 miles most days. I have high arches and these supported me well.

Bought these for my wife, After having 3 foot surgeries in 4 years, she purchases shoes that do not constrict her toes and allow for more natural movement. Though not athletic, she really enjoys walking in these shoes.
We read the other comments before purchasing from Amazon always and for these shoes, most said they run small. She wears 6.5 but has purposely gone to a size 7 after surgeries. She ordered 7 in these shoes and had to return and reorder a 7.5 which fits with room for movement. So order a minimum of 1/2 size up to save time on a return. Although the return credit was within 1-day of dropping off at UPS store.

The shoes are really attractive, the price is great and so are the shoes!

This is my second pair of Altra shoes. I have almost wore my first pair out, so I had to find a second pair. These came as exactly pictured in fit as described. The color is vibrant the toe bed is wide and they are very comfortable. I will order another pair when I wear these out. I highly recommend these tennis shoes.

I love that the tow box is roomy but my feet aren’t swimming in the sneaks. I’ve bought other Altra sneaks and they’ve always been a little wide for my feet. I didn’t give it 5 stars because of the laces. They are short and slip without a double knot. I would definitely recommend. I went a half size larger but I do that with all my running shoes. They fit perfect.
